The UK on Tuesday announced to ban the country's companies from buying Huawei equipment for 5G networks from December 31, 2020. The UK government further announced all the existing equipment of China's Huawei in the country's 5G network will be removed by 2027. The move follows sanctions imposed by the US, which claims Huawei poses a threat to national security.
