A turtle born with a golden shell has been found in Nepal. The creation gets its coloration from an ultra-rare genetic mutation that modifies its pigmentation. "This is the first record in Nepal of chromatic leucism in this turtle, Lissemys punctata andersoni, and only the fifth in the species worldwide. This is one amazing discovery!" a Nepal Toxinology Association official stated.
